A series of closed-circuit cooling towers with fans. A distinctive feature of these cooling towers is that the cooled fluid circulates through copper or stainless steel tubes of a heat exchanger, which is cooled by outdoor air and by the evaporation of water sprayed onto it from an external circuit. Thus, the cooled fluid remains clean.
Purpose: Cooling of process water in closed-loop water recycling systems for energy-consuming equipment (heat exchangers of compressor units, condensers of refrigeration machines, air conditioners, injection molding machines, processing equipment, electronic equipment, etc.).
In the design and engineering of cooling towers, we are guided by their efficiency, reliability, and simplicity of maintenance.- The evaporative cooling tower is designed for cooling process water in recycled water supply systems of energy-consuming equipment.
- Fan-assisted cooling towers are the most common and efficient type for enterprises in various industries.
- Sectional (modular) cooling towers with fans consist of independent sections that are mounted into a single cooling unit.
- Compact cooling towers address water cooling requirements at enterprises with small-scale water recycling loops.
- Thanks to their compact size, they are shipped fully assembled and ready for operation, can be easily moved from place to place, and do not require a special water basin.
Benefits of Our Cooling Towers:
- The cooling towers are delivered in a state of complete factory readiness.
- The dimensions of the blocks do not exceed the limits permitted for road transport.
- The low weight of the cooling towers allows for reduced installation costs.
- The splash-film type fill consists of mesh tubes made of HDPE. Such a fill is frost-resistant, has low fouling tendencies, and does not require water treatment; in case of clogging, it is easily cleaned.
- The casing of the cooling towers is manufactured from powder-coated galvanized steel sheet with a thickness of 1.5–2.0 mm. The design incorporates a minimal number of welded joints.
- The fan electric motors feature an ingress protection rating of no less than IP54 (splash-proof protection).
Key Design Assemblies:
- The Fill (Fill Media) is the main part that determines the efficiency of the structure. The primary task of this element is to create the largest surface area of contact between water and air streams.
- The Drift Eliminator features a wave-like shape and is essential for reducing droplet entrainment at a low resistance to the airflow. It serves to capture and precipitate water droplets traveling in the air stream. It also functions as a distributor, altering the direction of fluid flows upon discharge from the cooling tower.
- The Water Distribution System is designed for uniform distribution (often spraying) of liquid over the surface of the fill. It consists of numerous pipelines with spray nozzles at the ends.
- The Fan Units are required to create an airflow of the necessary capacity. They consist of an impeller, an electric drive, and a diffuser.
During cooling tower operation, various filters must be used because the recycled process water often contains a large amount of suspended particles. These can include rust, scale, silt, sand, etc. Suspended solids damage the equipment by clogging the spray nozzles.
The designs of the cooling towers feature high efficiency and productivity. They are engineered taking into account modern requirements for equipment utilization.
